MICHAEL GRAVES

Michael Graves is a Veteran of the United States Air National Guard, where he began his medical career as a Flight Medic. After completing his military service, he believed that his purpose in life was to help those struggling with mental health issues. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1999 and a Master of Science in Nursing from Midwestern State University in 2016. He is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and provides care to patients ages 13- 65.
With over twenty years of experience in the mental health field, Michael has worked in a variety of settings including outpatient psychiatry practices, acute care psychiatric hospitals, psychiatric ER's in maximum security prisons, VA hospitals, and home health across the United States. Michael treats a range of mental health disorders including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and attention deficit disorders.

Michael's style of practice encompasses both traditional medicine (prescribing medications) and alternative medicine (encouraging lifestyle modifications, such as diet and exercise). The most rewarding part of his career is witnessing a client's symptoms improve and/or resolve enabling them to regain quality of life.
